Why we built this
Every tool we've built started with a real frustration. This one was no different.
Anyone who has worked in digital advertising knows the feeling. You spend hours building a set of HTML5 banner ads. You zip them up, upload them to the ad platform, and they come back rejected. Wrong click tag. File too large. Missing backup image. Unsupported script. Every platform has different rules and none of them tell you exactly what's wrong.
AD Exhibit started on a marketing agency request. A simple validator tool that would check their HTML5 banners before they ever touched an ad platform. Then we added preview links so we could share creatives with clients without emailing zip files back and forth. Then we added the optimizer — a one-click fixer for the most common errors. Then social media mockups for image, GIF and video ads.
What started as a script became a platform. We decided to open it up to anyone who makes ads for a living — freelancers, boutique agencies, in-house creative studios, trading desks. If you ship ad creatives, ADExhibit was built for you.
